Hello Tri-Level Participants,
I wanted to give you all an update, take a look at the UPDATED “Team Confirmation Form.” You will notice that we have a lot more options in the Seattle area. I know many of you have been inquiring about this.
At this point in time, I can not add anymore courts for this summer, just the ones that I have listed. I will explore more Bellevue courts for the following summer in 2017. We have to obtain certificate of insurance and secure permits for these outdoor courts, so it can be a bit complex. That is the reason for not adding more courts at this time.
If your club is not able to allocate courts for your Tri-Level team, you have the options listed on the team form. You will need to just pick one.
The Tri-Level league is considered a regular season league just like all of the other leagues you participate in. I’ve had some players asking if they can split up the matches if say their 4.5s are not available that day. The answer is “NO.” This is a regular match just like you participate in during the other leagues that you play in. Remember, there is no maximum number per team (only if you are the team that advances on to the BNP Paribas – 4 per level for 3.5/4.0/4.5), so you can add more players per level so you don’t have to worry about not being able to field a team during summer vacations. You can still request a reschedule 2 weeks after the schedule comes out if you foresee a major conflict. There are no guarantees, but you can always ask.
If you are looking for a more relaxed league, then the summer singles or doubles flex is for you. This league is a non-advancing league and you can still schedule your matches on your own terms. More information regarding the flex leagues will be coming out on 5/1/15, just email me if you wish to be on that email distribution list.
Here is a great link showing the comparison between the two leagues (Tri-Level vs. Flex League):
Lastly, I am keeping track of different levels (or Tri-Level) and what teams are looking for which players. If you have say 2-3.0s looking to join a 3.5/4.0 level, I will do my best to connect you.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.
