Adult Training Opportunities

To register for a clinic you can call or text 206-898-9716, email bashatennis@gmail.com, or sign up on the board at Forest Crest.  We need 4 players in a clinic to successfully host a clinic.  If we need to cancel a clinic due to low attendance players will be called in advance.   The Monday clinics, Tuesday cardio tennis and 3.0 – 4.0 women practices will be confirmed a go or canceled by Monday noon.  The Tuesday 3.0 – 3.5 men & women practice will be confirmed a go or canceled by Tuesday noon.  The Thursday cardio tennis clinic will be confirmed a go or canceled by Wednesday noon.     Players will receive a call if the practice must be canceled.  If you have registered and have not been contacted the practice will continue as planned....

For kids age 10 and under, the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) offers developmental stages for learning the game, including age-appropriate balls, rackets, and court sizes. This program is called QuickStart Tennis and helps make tennis fun and simple to learn for younger children. There are three ball sizes and colors: red, orange, and green. Hopefully, with appropriately sized and paced tennis balls, children will be able to learn skills more quickly and avoid losing interest. The Standard Tennis Ball The standard tennis ball is approximately 6.7 cm in diameter and weighs between 56 and 59.4 grams. Yellow and white are the only colors that are approved by the USTA.
